at some point, seeking may soften — not dramatically, not cleanly — just enough that it no longer makes sense in the way it once did.
there may still be questions, habits, confusion, or even a sense of slipping back into the dream.
but the urgency has gone.
something has already seen through itself.
the conversations i offer meet that moment.
not to stabilize it or turn it into understanding, but to stay close to what is actually happening.
we look together at how the sense of being someone — someone who sees, chooses, or knows — continues to appear, even when it has been clearly seen through.
there is no practice here.
no work to complete.
no position to hold.
sometimes things loosen.
sometimes they don’t.
sometimes it feels very ordinary.
sometimes it’s quietly unsettling.
none of that is a problem.
this isn’t therapy or teaching, and it isn’t meant to produce a result.
the work happens through simple, time-bound one-to-one conversations, held lightly and allowed to end.
nothing is carried forward unless it naturally does.
this tends to resonate with people who aren’t looking for reassurance or direction anymore, but who also aren’t interested in pretending they don’t still show up as a person.
life goes on.
the character continues.
and something about it all is already clear — even when it doesn’t feel like it.
